Lot Layout Ideas
Thoughts on Lot Layout:
- I would like to maximize my beach view and breezes (north side). I want to be able to sit in my pool and see the ocean, all the while protecting the pool from blowing sand as much as possible. I want the pool to sun in the mornings and shade in the hot afternoons.
- I am not sure if we need a sea wall or not. I would like a path that is gradual entry to the beach from the house and not stairs.
- The street view of the lot (south side), I'd like to be able to have vegetable gardens, fruit trees & a chicken coop.
- I'd also like to consider two casitas, a 3 car garage that a 2nd story could be built on in the future & a main house. It would be nice if the Casitas & Garage could have access to the beach maybe through the east side of the property & the public beach entrance.
- The property will need to be walled, gated & have pedestrian gates.
- All mechanical and utilities will need to be hidden from eye sight. I would like to consider solar power with battery backup & well water.
- Landscape lighting, gas fire pit & grill.
- Lots of covered patios.
- A summer kitchen with outdoor fireplace.
- Outdoor shower/bathroom.
